Ok, so I got a little distracted when writing my last post. I had more to say about our stay in Silverton, Colorado. We drove up one of the mountain passes. We could have went further up it but it was really bumpy. If we would have been in the jeep we use to have, we would have gone a lot farther up. We went up far enough to get some pics of the snow on the ground. We were missing our friends Carol and Richie Cobb. This was the first time we have been to Silverton without them.
Darren is a little obsessed with finding Bigfoot. LoL. He bought a Bigfoot air freshener and a shirt that says Bigfoot doesn’t believe in you either. I had to talk him out of buying the lunch box. He definitely keeps me entertained at times. We also went to The Funnel Cake Factory. That was the best funnel cake we ever had.
The first night after leaving Colorado, we spent the night in the Walmart parking lot in Elk City, Oklahoma. Last night we stayed at Pecan Grove RV Park in Lake Village, Arkansas. It was a nice little campground. We did laundry and got a good rest from the long days of driving.
We are on way now to visit with family in Mississippi. We haven’t seen them in a long time. I’ve got a feeling it going to be a great visit.
Ya’ll stay tuned, we may be headed back to Alabama after our visit but our adventures aren’t over yet. We are still living this life tow.
Live life and love on your family,
We are Darren and Christie Berry We sold our house in April of 2017 and moved into a 24 foot camper. We needed a little bit more room, so in January of 2019 we moved into a 37 foot Class A motorhome. Darren still works a conventional job so we are still tied tied down to the area. We travel as much as time will allow us to. Some people would say that we are homeless, but we have a home and it goes with us where ever we go.
