Happy New Year y’all!
I know I’m a little late on wishing that but anyway, “Happy New Year!”
Just a little recap of This past year…
2017 was an awesome experience for us with a lot of changes in our life.
We sold our house and moved into our camper. It took a little getting used to, but it was worth doing. Living in campgrounds has been an awesome experience for us. Downsizing and learning to live in a tiny space has taught us a lot.
There are times when we questioned our decision to do this but after a year of it, we know for sure that we did the right thing. We had some friends and family that thought we had lost our minds. We also had those that have supported our decision and cheered us on..
In June we traveled to California to see our son. We did a lot of sightseeing while we were there. It was fun getting to see places and things we had never seen before.
In September, we went to Colorado with some our very best friends. Being with friends was the very best part of that trip.
So that was just a few highlights of 2107. It was a blast! We are so thankful and blessed to have been able to do the things we did. Our lives changed a lot last year. We became courageous enough to step out of the box, and out of our comfort zone and do something we have never done before. We learned how to live in a whole new a way. We learned how to be content and be thankful for the things that are most important in life. We took the opportunity to spend time with family and friends and be thankful that they were there to spend time with.
We are so excited to see what 2018 has in store for us. We are gearing up for new things and making plans. We can’t wait to share it with y’all. We hope to do more blogging and videoing so that we can share our adventures. We are determined not to sit still but to enjoy the moments God gives us. Life is to short to not make everyday an adventure!
Y’all Live Life and Love on your Family,
We are Darren and Christie Berry We sold our house in April of 2017 and moved into a 24 foot camper. We needed a little bit more room, so in January of 2019 we moved into a 37 foot Class A motorhome. Darren still works a conventional job so we are still tied tied down to the area. We travel as much as time will allow us to. Some people would say that we are homeless, but we have a home and it goes with us where ever we go.
