The Wanderlust Itch

Hello everyone, what a busy few months we have had. Our life has been a little crazy 😜. I have had a hard time finding time to write a blog. I did get some videos posted to our YouTube Channel though. I am working on some more. Hope to get them posted soonScreen Shot 2018-03-03 at 9.54.34 AM

As most of you know we upsized to a motorhome in January. We are loving it. We went from 24ft to 37ft. It feels huge. Lol. Ok so I really wouldn’t say huge but a lot bigger.00S0S_9J5lH07pQxY_600x450 2

April 1st marked a year that we have been living the RV lifestyle. We love it so much that we have decided that this is our lifestyle from now on.

We have had a lot of people make the comment, ” I thought Darren already retired and y’all were traveling?” We do travel but Darren is not retired yet. He has a ways to go before that can happen. We stay in campgrounds locally so that he can work his job during the week. On the weekends we travel short distances and on this vacation time, we travel long distances. It will have to do until he is able to retire. We can’t wait for the the day when we can just pickup and go when ever the wanderlust hits us. Right now it’s like an itch we can only temporarily scratch.

We have some trips planned with friends in the next few months. So excited 😆. Can’t wait to get this baby on the road. We have a lot little things that need to be done before our next long trip.

In my next blog post I will be telling you about the motorhome and gettin it ready for a long trip. Y’all be looking for that.

Y’all be sure to make everyday an adventure. Enjoy the life you have and love on your family while you have them!

We are Darren and Christie Berry We sold our house in April of 2017 and moved into a 24 foot camper. We needed a little bit more room, so in January of 2019 we moved into a 37 foot Class A motorhome. Darren still works a conventional job so we are still tied tied down to the area. We travel as much as time will allow us to. Some people would say that we are homeless, but we have a home and it goes with us where ever we go.
